Statue Gemstone
Does anyone remember Hans Christian cartoons from the 60′s or 70′s?
When I was a little girl in the early 1970′s, there used to be animated Hans Christian Anderson specials on at Christmas time that I watched every year without fail. There was the Little Mermaid, the Little Matchgirl, and a couple I can’t remember the name of, one with a mean giant who turned friendly, and one with a prince who was a statue that birds picked the gemstone eyes out of. Please Help…I would love to have these on DVD.
Well, those stories are “The Happy Prince” and “The Selfish Giant”. Nevertheless, they were written by Oscar Wilde.
